My 49th Birthday Wish: Help 49 San Francisco Non-Profits with Deals4Dreams

The new Bellevue-based start-up, Deals4Dreams has been up and running for just over a month and already has a bunch of awesome nonprofit partners - most so far here in the Seattle area.  These partners are rather happy, as they have already been getting checks for 50% of the net proceeds.

I am on a quest to offer the services of Deals4Dreams to help nonprofits down the west coast and throughout the US.  Since there are only so many hours in a day, I have to choose somewhere to focus first and I will pick San Francisco because The City is a great place, with very diverse people and also has a huge number of fantastic nonprofit organizations that do such wonderful work.  It doesn't hurt that it's only 750 miles away and hosts a lot of great tech and social media events.

In honor of San Francisco's beloved 49ers (who beat the Seahawks in their first matchup of the season), my initial goal in the Bay area is to have 49 San Francisco area nonprofits signed up to start getting donations from Deals4Dreams by the time by birthday rolls around (just a few days after the Seahawks get a rematch with the Niners on Christmas Eve).  Forty nine Bay area charities signed up to receive additional funding through deals offered by Deals4Dreams.

If you work in a nonprofit and any of your supporters purchase 'deals' from Groupon, Living Social, or many other deal sites - your organization can soon be benefiting from those purchases if made through Deals4Dreams, but it has to be signed up.  Signing up is easy and free.  Your organization could have it's own D4D Deals Site and be earning 50% of Deals4Dreams net proceeds procured through their site.  This is a WIN for the buyer, this is a WIN for the merchant and this is a WIN for your nonprofit!

I'd love to hear about your fave SF nonprofits, so contact me or just let them know that they should go to Deals4Dreams.com and sign their organization up to start raising money with their own D4D site.  Some of the SF nonprofits that would make great partners include:

IDEX - International Development Exchange

KickStart

KIVA

Gray Area Foundation For The Arts

and of course all the non-profits on the following list of Bay area nonprofits provided by the Bay Area Volunteer Information Center:
