I'm Grateful For Sean Stephenson: He Says "You Got This"

Dr. Sean Stephenson is one of my all time heroes.  He is a man who truly lives life for all it is worth.  He has faced great personal challenges head on and each day is an inspiration to thousands.  I hope to get to meet him sometime soon, but in the mean time, I love watching his videos on YouTube - and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of his book entitled "Get Off Your 'But'".  I think you will enjoy this short film Sean made called "You Got This".  Very powerful.

Sean Stephenson has had a positive effect on many people's lives and is very well thought of.  His friend Anthony Robbins actually wrote the Forward to "Get Off Your 'But'".  You'll probably want to ready the book yourself and can buy it at Amazon.com.

Check Out the Color Mob 5K - Fun Event for All

Recently Clint Nelsen shared this presentation on Slideshare - the Color Mob 5K looks like a lot of fun - and they are going to be held all over the US and the world ...  Their motto is:  RUN.  DRINK.  EAT.  DANCE.  GET MESSY!

BTW - I'm pretty sure this is the same Clint Nelsen who is a Co-Founder of Startup Weekend, but I have not yet received confirmation on this.

The Pursuit of Happyness: If You Want Something, Go Get It. Period.

The Pursuit of HappynessOn last night's National Team Huddle Webinar for Solavei, Training Leader Extraordinaire and the Company's first Social Executive 3, Staci Wallace 'double dog dared' us all to watch the movie "Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith and his young son Jaden who did a great job in his movie debut.  I had already seen and enjoyed the film a couple of years ago, but since Staci recommended it - not to mention the double dog dare, I just had to watch it again and had my hands on a copy a couple of hours later.

Words Are Powerful, Thoughts Create Things: Positive Rock for the Ages is Born; Seattle Area Musicians Wanted

Joe The Connector Kennedy is a Positive RockerSince I started my personal journey blog at HowIQuitSmokingPot.com just over one week ago, there have been a lot of interesting things happening.  The blog has already evolved into a support site for a number of awesome people around the world and is no longer just about my journey.  I think that is really cool.

I have also started to create some healthier habits - including writing more, reading, actually watching entire movies and even singing into the PA system I bought for my 9 year old daughter Jacqueline Nataliya Kennedy a couple of years ago.

I've also started thinking a lot more.  A couple of ideas that are super true and important:  1) Words are important and 2) Thoughts become things.

In trying to learn the words to a few songs, I've come to realize that some (most?) of my favorite songs, some which I have listened to and sang along with (at least in my head) hundreds of times, are much less than positive and have not been helping me like I might think.

Stay with me here ....

My idea is to form a band of super positive and talented people and rewrite some existing famous tunes with totally positive slants. Once some of those are done, performed and recorded, it could be a really good platform to write, perform and record original positive songs.

It may seem even crazier, but I have already "been given" the title of the new genre of music (Positive Rock for the Ages) and name of the band (keeping this one under my hat for now).

While I would want to be heavily involved in the process and an opportunity to attempt to try performing (even with no talent) even if just once in awhile and as a back up singer with the mic turned off ;-0 - my highest and best use might be organizing and promoting the whole thing.  SO - I am now looking for local Seattle or Eastside musicians, singers and songwriters who are interested in collaborating on this type of project.  If you, or anyone you know are interested in discussing, please let me know!

BTW - if you are a musician of any experience, instrument, music genre or style, you are invited to join BandDating - the social network for musicians by musicians.

Common Bond Between Brad Pitt and Joe "The Connector" Kennedy

JK w green juice 070212Brad Pitt Quit Smoking PotWhat do Brad Pitt and Joe "The Connector" Kennedy have in common?  Well, besides their rugged good looks and great acting abilities?

No Joe Kennedy didn't kick Jennifer Anniston to the curb.  He hasn't had or adopted children with Angelina Jolie either.

But they have both stopped smoking pot.  According to a well publicized article at the UK Daily Mail almost a year ago, Pitt says he stopped smoking pot (and left Jennifer Anniston) because he almost "turned into a doughnut" while falling into a regular habit of getting heavily stoned with Anniston, the hot former star of the television program 'Friends'.

Joe Kennedy quit smoking pot just 15 days ago in his quest for ultimate health during training for his next big role.  You can read about his journey and stories from others around the globe at HowIQuitSmokingPot.com
