Nice to See Past Clients Using Their Web Tools

Sometimes it can be difficult to have small businesses as consulting clients, because many times these great little organizations are run by a super small staff that is generally already overworked, underpaid and not looking for more work to do.  Social media and often, it's not so evil twin, social media marketing, are something that almost all businesses need to be involved in.  You can choose not to be - but can you really afford to make that decision since all your "real" competitors out there will be?

Many small business clients accept the coaching and training, but are distracted by what have already become the day to day operations in their companies.  With different jobs to do and hats to wear, the small business owner can easily lose focus on what is important and slip back into busy work.  At the same time, time spent on social media without a clear plan can also be busy work that has no point at all.

Regardless, it is always nice to see past clients out about on the web:  Norberry Tile has not been real active, but they did have a short post on their blog back in November and it looks like they are tweeting regularly too!  Good job Craig.

I also recently heard from Custom Home Builder Steve Weise of RockyTopLiving.net and they have been making great use of their blog/website.  It looks like the roads are going in and the 10 home green community development near Yakima is moving forward.  It's going to be super cool - so check it out!
